I plan to attend - first time attending. Very exciting
How does the registration work? Such as for the 101, or for partial days?

I plan to attend - first time attending. Very exciting How does the registration work? Such as for the 101, or for partial days? Sorry, there is no pricing for partial days, as Ben said above. The 101 is a two day thing as well comprised of a classroom type setting, covering things like airing down, safe use of a high lift jack, recovery, driving over & around obstacles, etc. This is followed by a practical portion in your Jeep, doing these things. Then the second day is a trail ride to put those skills to use. Your Trailhawk is fully capable of doing the Saturday trail ride on Blackrock.

Thanks Thumper and eastcoastcam. I appreciate the information - and the vote of confidence for the Trailhawk.
Looking forward to it. Hopefully my schedule frees up between now and then, and I can come out for some trail rides.

Rough camping is provided at no extra charge, you can arrange with Fox Mountain Camping Park separately if you have a camper or possibly rent one of their cabins. I don't believe there is much in the way of motels in the area. So, basically the price doesn't change

Just read on FB that early bird ends this week ( March 5th ) But because of a typo on the form you fill out , the date is listed on it as March 11 and the jam committee is going to honour it
Did I read that right Larry ?
Maybe a few updated posts to confirm

Hi again. I was looking through nsjcjamboree.ca. I'm really interested in the 101 as you know. Checked out the vehicle requirements, which I meet them all, but do not have a CB radio. Any recommendations, or is this something that may have a bit of flexibility?

Any recommendations, or is this something that may have a bit of flexibility? You're not going to get turned away for not having a CB... But it makes the experience all that more, because you will feel more "connected" with the group when you can hear the conversation going on (That goes for Jamboree or any trail runs ). CBs are reasonably economical... I started off with my little Midland and a cheapo magnet mount antenna. I still use the mag. mount antenna with another radio, I just changed the coax plug... If you buy used, make sure it can be teated to make sure it works, so you don't buy a POS that should have been tossed out, not sold...

Nearly 200$ to go ride some trails and camp? If anyone wants to take a drive out to cape breton we do that here for free.. 902-574-8755 Hi. I'm from Cape Breton and have been wheeling for 20 years. I've also been attending the Jam for 10 years. Its not the same thing and you will not get the experience of Jamboree by running a couple of trails with a buddy. Jamboree is not simply a little rip thru the woods, its a 3-5 day gathering with hundreds of people and rigs. There are services to be paid for and things like camping (in a serviced campground), and prepared hot food are part of the price of admission/organization. Everyone who wheels should try it out once, see what the big deal is! Thx for the phone #, what part of Cape Breton you live in? My friends and I have contacts in Pier mud scene, some Northside jeepers, around Sydney, Mira, Iona, and I like to explore lost roads in the Highlands.
