Saturday, March 19. This is going to be a little different. It is a new trail that the club has never run before, so there is a possibility of the unexpected. We think it will be 'Stock Friendly' for the most part, as it is an old 'J' class road. It will be a full day, so we will meet at the Irving in Granville Ferry, just east of the Annapolis Causeway on Hwy 1, for a 10:30 departure. I will be leaving the Irving Big Stop in New Minas at 9:00 for anyone that wants to convoy. This run is for anyone that wants to wheel their Jeep and 'Explore Nova Scotia our way'.

The trail run was excellent. It's always fun to try something new. We had rigs from Yarmouth to Halifax and everyone had fun. One section of alders became a bit annoying after a bit but that was the only negative of the day. Much of the run was on an old 'J' class road, and very stock friendly, but we did find a couple of detours that added to the adventure. A washed out box culvert, 8' deep, was a deterrent and we decided not to risk crossing, so we back tracked and headed out. Lots more to explore in this area in the future.
