Where is everyone getting their mini grinders from ? Since CT has jacked up the price (most likely from all the grinders I have destroyed and got warranty from ) I need to pick up 2-3 of them Any sales going on ? Post up !!

My PA one has held up way better than the CT one I had. Not that I'm a heavy user, but the CT one died just outside of warranty (and it wasn't their cheapest one), the PA one just keeps going. Worth a look, and PA is usually pretty good on warranty returns.

Lynds here in truro has a 2 pack of Botch for sale for something like 140 which is a awesome deal.
I currently have Botch, Dewalt, Porter Cable, Makita, the Porter cable and Makita seem to be the toughest. Bearings are usually my issue. All sourced from Amazon. Put it on your price and compare list and it will tell u when they go on-sale. I usually Pay around 60-70 for one.
I guess I should quantify that my use is quite heavy while no where near as heavy as you. I get about a year or 18 months out of these brands.
Also of note I stepped up to a 5" grinder in a lot of cases which has seemed to help with longevity.

I bought a 7 inch Ridgid grinder at Home Depot for the heavy stuff. About $130 now, but lifetime warranty. Just register tool online when you buy it and no questions replacement.
I have used mine pretty hard over the last few years with no issues. A 5 inch wire cup is pretty hard on a grinder, they are so out of balance, and the grinder handles them fine.

Well, that is ironic. I was just bragging up Ridgid tools yesterday and my grinder quit yesterday. Had a bit of that burnt electrical plastic smell. But, I have had it since June 2010 so that is just over 6 years of use on it. Not exactly no questions replacement like I thought. I have to take it into Dieter's Tool repair shop and let them look at it. Will let you know how it goes.

Ridgid's warranty isn't what it used to be.

Dewault for the plug in type and Milwaukee for cordless. (I got the Milwaukee "refurbished" for about half the price). Spins a bit slower but cordless is nice for removing parking boots LOL
