Hey everyone, my name is Colin, and I have encountered a issue with my WJ. Last week I had pulled into my friends driveway and came to a stop. To get his attention, I gave it a quick little brap of the pedal and it's stalled on me. When I restarted it it's was missing and smoking. After looking around I noticed the air line popped off the back of the valve cover. Plugged it back in and it stopped smoking and ran a lot better but still had a little miss at idle. Few days go by, and it starts acting up again, smoking and rough idle. It's throwing a p0302 code. Although all plugs have fire. Does anyone have any input? This is my daily driver and I'm eager to fix this as quick as possible. Thanks in advance .

First try to eliminate that #2 cylinder plug as the culprit... swap that one with another, clear the codes and see what happens... if the misfire code comes back up for the same cylinder (#2) then continue looking elsewhere, if it changes to whatever cylinder you moved it to, then it us for sure, tuneup time...
At least it is somewhere to start that is free...
