I think this is a great way for Jeeps to be advertised from all over the province, dealer or not. But I agree, if there's no price I wouldn't even call. I'd rather be sticker shocked here than after getting a salesman on the phone trying to convince me I should be paying an inflated price. I've called trailrated before on a TJ that he had posted the price for. If more dealers posted here we would know what's out there. I bought my TJ from a private sale here. Paul

Paul - I agree with you, that the dealers could advertise here and state the price so we know what's out there in this province. I just bought a 2000 TJ from Ontario, because the prices were an average of $2000 cheaper because they have so many.
Ben: I'LL raise you $1.00

Trailrated. I'm just teasing; I'm a damn salesman. Should I as a dealer post JEEPs for sale? I assumed that there was a rule about that. If no rule check away. www.scotiachrysler.ns.ca

Different people want different things in a price. Selling price (plus tax, no tax, cash down and payments) some want a payment (length of time, cash down, financing rate, used vehicle lease, buyback, weekly ,biweekly , monthly) or trades? There are too many variables.Find one you like, let me know and I'll suit the purchase to you. ;D

If any salespeople are serious here's the way to do this right! Pick a Jeep, any model and figure out a super sweet deal. Post it for the members to see. If it's attrative we'll soon call others and it will get sold. Do the same for a good Tow Rig. One or 3/4 ton etc. No fluffed up street machines. Same applies to trailers or dollys.
I don't understand why all the foreplay before a person can arrive at a price. I ask for the best price and if it's to high I walk. We are all smart about pricing. No one is going to buy an over inflated Jeep. Why should people have to leave the province to buy a Jeep. Come on this is stupid. Our money should stay here.
Do this right and someone will sell Jeeps on a regular basis. It seems to me Salespeople and Managers would rather whine about sales being down then take a low price or god forbid loose some commission!! The person may not make a killing from sales here but some people also buy cars etc. They will go where they get the best deals.
Do this dealer thing right. I'm sick of buying 4-5 magazines to find a good deal. Bring them to us, if your serious about being good in your chosen field.

Kevin makes a good point. The Club does look within itself when doing business. It is also very well informed on what Jeeps are worth, so post a price.
As well, we need a damn plumber.

"salespeople and managers...whine","being good in your chosen field" ? Why are you concerned about what a salesperson makes or complains about?Do a job-get paid. I didn't stress out about it when sellling property. If I see a good deal on something we have; I'll post it tow rig/JEEP etc. Any way this is where my little voice usually kicks in telling me to shut up.......Good hi-jack though.lol
