Thanks Johnnie.
These rigs are hard to find...and don't let the pics fool ya, she's not ready to win ribbons by any stretch of the imagination...LOL
There's a small amount of bondo in the usual places...*I can't even keep a straight face*
It was one of those I-knew-someone-who-knew-someone things. I love the truck, though.
...as for lifting an FC, well, Alan J down Bear River way would be able to point you straight on that. Anyone who can build an Eagle 4WD wagon from Cherokee bits is OK in my book. PLUS, he just so happens to have an FC in his yard, too. LOL
He'll just whittle away for a day in the shop on his metal lathe and *POOF*, a new lift for ya. Don't ask the cost, though. My pop-can project isn't completed and I'm into it for 3 bottle of rye so far...LOL

Hard to find?Tellme about it. I looked for months. I found a 2.5 liter /5spd 4x4. The thing was very tired and more of a project than I thought.

FC-150 lift is easy, it's a CJ5 underneath. You wanted a pop-can Duane? Damn, I made you a beer can!!!

I'm joking about the FC. My wife doesn't like a two toned XJ in our yard let alone a FC.

Nice truck. Fill or no fill...it looks better than any I've seen around here for a while.
What is the specs on that....engine, gearing, etc?

1989 Comanche 4.0 / AW4 / 231 combo (auto w/part-time t-case) Gearing is stock, so I'll say 3.55, but might be 3.73??? Rock-crushing strength common to all Dana 30 and Dana 35 axles. 245/75/16 Goodyear MT/R's on stock Rubicon rims Supposed to be 4.5" lift from RockKrawler...ahem, we's gettin' a bit more than that, Weezie! Not sure what else to spec on this thing...there's no cat, so that's good for an extra 18 HP over a stock 4.0 and given the altitude I'm at now, I know it's running stronger due to the fact the air is colder at higher altitudes. Supposed to be putting out 177 from the factory in my non-HO 4.0, but it's closer to 225 with the lift and no cat.

Looks awesomes Duane. I think you should keep the wheels, even when you get larger tires. I like steelies, but your truck looks so unique with the alloys. I think it gives it a very clean look.

Thanks slowpoke... I really like the look of the rims on the truck, so I figure if I can stay busy frigging with other stuff on the truck for a while, the whole tire/wheel thing will pass for a bit. BTW - I just got a copy of the latest CAN4WD - The MORE article is in and the pics came out great! Not sure if I'll be getting any other copies from them, but if I do, I'll let you know and arrange to get some out to your group.
