Just started here on the South coast of NFLD this morning around 8:00 AM. We're only suppose to get about 8-10"s. The Weather channel says that the storm will lose a lot of its strenght by the time it crosses the gulf. Anywho, Merry Christmas all ya'll, see everyone in a couple of days.

As of 8AM HFX Int'l has reported 21 cms on the ground. Hopefully this means we're about done with snowfall. The current forecast is calling for 20 - 30 cms for today to fall.

Cool Highway cams . Looking pretty bad up near Springhill about 10 min ago. When I came into the dockyard this morning the highway (102) was clear (well wind swept) but under the overpasses the snow has drifted up pretty high. The highway out my way (the 333) was horrible. I only did an average speed of 50 the whole way in and stayed away from secondary roads and hills. Cant be too careful right?

And Big6 got stuck in a snow drift a few minutes ago! Craig B and Matt are on their way to rescue him so they can go on a call-out...LOL Big6...though he wasn't the first stuck. Rumour has it that honor went to none other than...Len...but that's unconfirmed as of right now.
