I can't believe nobody has said anything yet. I am not asking for grammar or even punctuation. But a few clicks on the spellchecker can't hurt can they?

is it the steel line coming out of the water pump, that the heater hose goes on? or the heater core at the firewall? give us the engine too! kinda hard to guess parts if we don't know what engine it is. walking sucks! ;D heh that's a good explaination for a bad post.

I have a 2.5l 93 yj and the rubber hose goes into the firewall but right around the engine around the belt there is a metal tube that connects onto the rubber hose that goes into the fire wall...

i think he said it's bad at the engine side, not the firewall. so it's not a heater core.

Sounds like the pipe that screws into the water pump for the heater hose. Might be a hard part to find used, and most likely a dealer is the only source for a new one. Probably have to take the water pump off to replace it. Len, you're getting slack, the "no" in that first post should have been a "know"!

if its the tube that comes out of the water pump you can get one of a 6 or 4 cyl . if you can unscrew it out any pipe fitter will make you one
