well since this place is dead again i'll post some pics of my latest work.... you jeepers don't know how to keep a fab section running ;D so heres some pics of the rock rails me and my buddy dale built for my zuki this week........ rusty rockers cut off..... the cut was then caped with 1" alumium angle iron rivited to the body to hide the cuts....then the sched 40 rails with 2x2x1/4" square for the frame mounts were welded onto the frame...... the 2x2 is cut into an "L" shape for the frame end so it sits half on top of the frame rail and half down the side, it'll take quite an impact to move these, we tested them pretty hard and they didn't move at all.... -Mike

There are no frame mounting points - it's just the tabs on the aluminum edges that hold the rails on...

i like that angle iron idea......i was thinkin on doin somthing similar since my rockers are toast, but i was goin to intergrate some 2x2 square on the bottom side of the rocker to keep shit from comming up through the edge of the floor.
