So Emily (g/f) and I will be attending the jeep jam. We will be up there for a while after the jam and we are trying to plan on things to do. We want to do the tidal bore rafting, but might not be able to. She wants to visit Halifax, but we don't know what there is to do. Does anyone have any ideas on where we can visit or things to do while in NS? With fuel around 4.89 USD per gallon, we dont wanna be driving TOOOOOO much lol.

You could do some more wheeling with the guys in the Valley.
I'd recommend dropping by Peggy's Cove to see the little village, great scenery and lighthouse. Always lots of little things to do in Halifax too.

Easy to spend a day or 2 in Halifax, lots to see and do on the waterfront.
And yes, we can take you out for more wheeling!

Thanks. The g/f isn't into wheeling as much as I am, so i'm gonna have to respect her wishes too lol. Besides, getting stranded 1000 miles from home isn't a good thing.

you won't be stranded as long as you can contact someone here!!! Lunenburg and Mahone Bay are nice, Cape Breton is another 5 hour drive but very scenic, Halifax is always nice downtown with pubs and shops. www.halifaxinfo.com/

Dude you would need to be pretty severely stranded/broken here b4 someone in the city or in the Valley would be unable to help you out. Come on up, there is lots to do. PMed ya contact info. Len

Since you'll be down around here, the Fundy shore is a beatuiful place to watch the sunset and walk along the beaches. There are lots of places to see it too. Victoria beach, Harbourville, Canada Creek, Halls Harbour and there are more Iam sure I missed. Hope you'll have a great time up here. We do.
