One thing to watch for is the method they use to hold the handle up. JackAll has an over centre position for a positive lock. Hi_Lift uses a wire clip and the FarmJack has a bit of bent tin welded on. If you think this isn't too important watch a heavily loaded jack ratchet all the was down and picture your head in the way of the handle. If you have never had a jack ratchet down......you been hellish lucky or unbelievably careful.

Honestly, they all serve the same purpose. Be it Hi-Lift or Jackall. But, where high-lift comes ahead is the accessories they make for it. There's a slew of accessories you can pick up from various vendors, or the company themselves that make the Jack a bit more useful. For example, I just picked up the Offroad Kit from Quadratec. It allows you to easily use the Hi-Lift as a winch. Sure, you can rig it up to do so otherwise, but this makes it that much safer and easier. Here's a list of a few accessories at Quadratec: www.quadratec.com/manufacture/Hi-Lift/index.htm

He lost an eye to a Jack a few years back and is VERY lucky to be here. Welcome back Mr Cranfield... Have not seen you on the board in a while! ;D
