94 4.0L automatic Cherokee getting stripped for parts. (NOT my red one) Rockers and floor are shot, and rear bumper is rusted through. Dark green in color.
Parts I'm taking myself:
- Front right, and rear left inner door handles.
- Front bumper and skid plate
- All bumper end covers
- Tierod
- Front lift coils
- Transfer case (np231)
- Front Axle shafts
- Headlight bezels
- Gauge cluster
- Front DS
Anything and everything else is going for cheap, as this thing is heading to the scrap yard next weekend. Front fenders, and all 4 doors are in surprisingly great shape. Rear hatch, complete with 2 WORKING struts is in great shape. Engine runs smooth, aside from an intermittent metallic rattle (I beleive it is the starter pinion not fully disengaging from the flywheel) I will confirm this shortly. It is a 4.0L HO, with 240,000km on it. Transmission is an AW4 automatic, which works fine. Rear springs are lifted, not sure if it is an after market pack, or an AAL. If your interested, I'll grab pictures.
Jeep is in West Petpeswick on the eastern shore, but I travel every day to Dartmouth for work.

Rear is indeed the 8.25, but I'm not sure how to tell if it is LS or open without opening it up. It may be worth it to do just that so people know what I am selling. Another thing for me to do tomorrow. Just picked up the jeep tonight, so I didn't get the greatest of looks at it. I'll be sure to get some pics, including the hood tomorrow. There is some clearcoat flaking off, but I can't remember if it was rusting or not. $40 for the front DS fair? EDIT: Sorry scott, dave reminded me we wanted to keep the front DS. I forgot about it. |

No electrics. Human powered only.
I'll pull the diff cover off the rear end tomorrow (weather permitting) to check if it is LSD or Open. The hood has no dents whatsoever, tiny bit of rust underneath, and the clearcoat is flaking, so would need a paintjob only.
And to those who may be interested in the engine, I'll swap out the starter with a spare to confirm or deny the noise from the engine.
I have the front fenders and front clip off now. Fenders are in great shape except for the very bottom tip of them. Anyone welding in rock rails would be cutting this portion off anyways, however. $30 each. Front clip (not broken.) $30.
Doors $50 each
Tilt steering column, $50
1 31x10.5" tire good for spare on jeep 15" 5-spoke wheel $30
4 15" 5-spoke wheels (some rust, could use sandblast and paint) Pretty much useless tires on them $60

Hi just joined up to NSJC
I'm looking for a few things for my 96 XJ rear leaf springs my look and feel like they have sagged also if it has any oil pressure switch front windshield if its good.
i like to lift it so i'd take the the coil springs too

Sorry, I can't really help you out there. Front and rear springs are spoken for, and the front windshield is broken. On top of that the sensors are being taken for spares. Sorry man. I popped open the rear diff cover tonight. 3.55 gears and open differential. Fluid was molasses color, so no water contamination. I confirmed that the noise is indeed coming from the engine, so It is fubared. Likely a broken rod or something, sounds god aweful. Starter is good: $30 Tranny is good: AW4 $100, Rear DS $40 Heading to the JY early next week, so let me know. Those who have confirmed they wanted parts, I apologise for the delay, but you should have them thurs or friday. Here are some pics of the fenders doors and hood.       |

This thing is going to be scrapped, tonight. The rest of the day will be spent pulling it onto its side, and pulling the xfercase, tranny, and all springs from it.
If you want something, (asside from those who already contacted me) give me a call today, otherwise its done. My cell is 250-793-4521 (still a BC number)
One thing to note is that this cherokee has a mint front skid plate that protects the stering gear up front. It is my understanding that these are hard to come by. Speak up if anyone wants it (this will be one of the parts not being sent to the JY)

Lots of response on the front skid, Speedhawk has first dibbs. I'll let you know if he doesn't want it.
About the only things I have left now are a AW4 transmission, NP231 T-case, rear driveshaft, and tail light housings. Everything else was thrown back into the jeep or sold. Its getting crushed.
