Just watching the 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Test Drive on the Speed Channel (its on again at 1:00am), they took it out on the Baja run, mostly roads with a couple of bumps - guess they didn't want to stress that new IFS system. IMHO, I don't like the look of it. It looks a lot like a Ford Explorer, but the big bonus is you can get it without low range.

In the defence of the "Crown Jewel" of the JEEP line the no-lo is only available for the soccer-mom types who don't off-road. DC no longer makes a AWD minivan so it needs to fill a void. BTW the Hemi is a hoot to drive. I thought that a 5.9 limited hauled @$$. My two pennies.

Don't knock it till you have driven one. It is one sweet ride. The single speed Tcase is only available with the V6. The traction control system is so far above the competion is unbelievable and it has real articulation when the others in its class have none. The 5.7 hemi mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm baby!! The traditional Grand ass wiggle is totally gone
