I want to lift my 86 Cherokee 2" or 3" with shackles in the rear leafs and spacers in the front coils. Any thoughts on this method or any better method of lifting my jeep?

I ran mine with 2 and 3" spacers in the front and 2" blocks and an extra leaf in the back for the past couple of years. It worked very well, amazing how much flex those old worn out springs worked. You will need longer shocks or shock extenders. I had 2" spacers in the front and put in an extra spring isolator ($11 each at the dealer) for the other inch. To get 2-3" of lift from shackles you'd need them to be 4-6" longer, not a good idea. I got an inch out of an extra stock leaf, and the blocks are easy to build/cheap to buy.
