Anyone have any experiences with either of these tires? I'm looking for a new set of tires for the heep. I can get them for relatively the same price (the GY are more expensive tho), but the only thing swaying me towards the GY are that I can get them in a C sidewall in a 245/75/16. Any insight is appreciated.

Just put on a set of Duratracs 2 weeks ago. I cannot comment on their longevity and tread wear (but being Goodyear I'm not too concerned). But all I can say is wow. They are still an aggressive looking tire, but they are quiet on the road and great on ice. I just changed out the BFG mud terrains, and whereas before any bit of packed snow I was spinning instantly, now I have to try and spin them. I would not hesitate to buy them again for a daily driver that does moderate off roading.
In a nutshell - one of the better tires that I've ever come across (so far - ask me in 30,000 km though LOL)

I have a set of 285s on my Tundra, a set on both my work trucks. The work trucks have put a good number of clicks on them both hwy, and city with no complaints what so ever. My Toyota (hope this is not a dirty word here) has been out in any weather we have had, as well as the mud, they have not let me down at all. Hope this helps make your decision a little easier.

I have Goodyear Duratracs on my work van. They are a very quiet tire and very good in the snow. They would most likely be very awesome off road as well.

I'd be looking for 4 245/75/16 in a C sidewall (6 ply).
