Hi, I've been running a Tj now for about 5 years but just got myself a xj. hopeing you guys could give me a few pointers. Tried the search but with the new board there isn't much left on. First question is what are the best u joints(front axle) to buy and where from? plus i need a floor and rocker panels. Can the rockers be bought after market or is it best to have someone custum bend them? Thanks for any help, i'm sure i'll have more questions as I go along.

The rockers, get Craig B from apj's to replace them. The ones he builds are tough and will outlast the jeep.

Best U joints to buy are Dana Spicer U joints.
I buy mine at parts for trucks.
Depending on the year of the XJ, U will want either:
5-260X U-Joint, early dana 30 axle shaft, 72-94 U-Joints Jeep CJ, YJ, XJ
5-760X U-Joint, replaces 5-297X U-Joint - Jeep YJ /TJ
