One of the Saint John NB guys got a hole in his gas tank, it was pissing out. They quickly dropped the skid enough to get their fingers between the skid and the tank, mixed up some Seal All and kleenex and globbed it on there. The leak stopped instantly, bolted the skid back up against the tank and drove off. 15 minute repair at most.

Yup, I used that fix to keep my 86 XJ running for about a year, even worked around the lines on the sending unit.

RUBBER BUSHINGS FOR CONTROL ARMS If you go to: www.sdtrucksprings.com/bushings , there are two links to the different bushing sizes available. 1st link, Harris bushings, are the individual rubber bushings. 2nd link, rubber bushings, has the different sizes of steel sleeved bushings available. For Halifax, there is a spring shop on Robie that has reasonable prices on them, and Parts for Trucks can order them in, just a few more dollars. They didn't have the exact length I needed for my TJ arms, so I ordered longer ones, steel sleeved, and cut them down to length. They worked fine. I didn't know about the list of Harris bushings at the time, they might flex a bit better, if you have inner sleeves to put in them.

If you've ever removed your headlights on a TJ, you might have dropped the 4 little torx screws that hold the light retainer ring to the bucket assembly when you go to put them back in... when you drop them, they go into the grill and are difficult to fish out.
After dropping all four into the grill and spending too much time finding them, I went to C.T. and bought a package of #6x3/4 robertson screws. Same length, same thread. A number 1 robertson holds the screw like glue compared to the torx, while you put it in the hole. done in 5 minutes. cost=1.99 and 8 less torx screws on my Jeep.

This may have already been covered but I just noticed the link provided in the first post regarding gear ratios now takes you to an eBay page selling men's rings. Am I missing something here? Is my ipad trying to tell me something, or are you guys getting the same result?

There are bound to be bad links and stuff by now. There's stuff that's 10 years old in this thread. The hosts get sold or become inactive, ad machines buy up the domains, etc.
We made these lists before google. lol
