Looking for a good CJ drive shaft. Mine seems to have not wanted to stay attached to the rear axle at speed...

does that thing have a cardan joint in the back, or just single joints? (you will be amazed after installing a front XJ shaft!) Driving on the highway with that size CJ, I'd really really recommend the 'CV' shaft in the back.
got axle wrap? traction bar on there yet? Even on street, goosing it can pop out a shaft due to axle wrap.

It's just a single joint... stock shaft. It's back together now. I've already planted the CV shaft seed. Just working against time between now and Jam.
The joint was SUPER dry, blue from heat, and had obviously been getting worse for some time.
The rear pinion is way off for a CV shaft, so that will have to be fixed as well as sourcing the proper XJ yoke for the D300, finding a CV shaft, and making it the correct length.
This one should get him through Jam.
