cool ,i've seen them made shorter and bolt around the pinion for u-joint protection but not the whole diff. Good idea if you don't mind losing a little clearance. I think the bolts should go up threw so you don't bend/break them though .

I have the slider for a TJ at home I was going to copy for the Rubi but haven't found the time yet, mounts the same as yours
