Looking to open my rear end back up, until I can afford a proper locker. The welded rear end works great offroad, but makes my jeep suffer too badly on road.
Only my side gears were welded, but I'm assuming I'll need spider gears as well as they are always crashing into the welded sides.

Point of interest, this would be for a d35c. (open carrier) I do not beleive a lsd will work because the gears are physically different.

That's right, and if you dig up the thread where I welded your gears, the pic with the carrier bore diameter on a vernier is there.
I'm poking thru my shed organizing parts today...wouldn't be surprized to find some in there, I'll let you know if I find any.
