Canstruction-Feed Nova Scotia

Hey all,
It was brought up that it might be a good idea for the NSJC to participate in the canstruction competition that Feed Nova Scotia has on the go in Oct by building a Jeep out of cans. I don't know all the details on the event except that it costs $500 to register and of course the whole point is to raise money for Feed Nova Scotia.
I guess I am wondering if there is any interest out there to do something like this. If there is I will find out more details and go from there. This is not something just for the Halifax Chapter, but for the whole NSJC no matter where you are. Would be a good activity to bring everyone together as well. A crapload of Jeeps in the parking lot when the building is going on would be pretty cool too.
Of course if there is interest we would need to hit up some business owners for some sponsorship too... ;D.

I'm not a member but that sounds like a great idea.I'll try help to get sponsors and any other thing else I can do if the goes with this.

Thanks for posting a link Bill. I am heading to the cottage in a bit for a few days so will see what the interest is like when I get back and then look for some of you fabricators/designers in the club to commit....
