It was an awesome day today, specially for me.
My YJ and My Grand not been ready to go in the mud pit. I was a bit (a lot) disappointed.
But my good friend Robin let me have his XJ to play.
Two good thing came out of that.
First, I was the first one to make it through the mud pit, 150'
It was a nasty one (a ford with 460 eng. with 42" tires could not make it).
Second, I did not break Robin's Jeep neither.
Later, Robin took his Jeep and he made it also, but his engine lost a few horse power.
Next month they are planing to have it again, hopefully there are going to be more trucks.

It was a great day of playing in the mud,a little to much mud for a rock buggy.Just spent 3 hrs with the pressure washer and still not done yet..  Ya you were the first through the pit Mickey,But think you forgot to say That you made it through after they spent 1/2 hour with the excavator dropping the level of the mud... ;)there was 2' to 3' of mud in the pit when the Ford was in the pit. that big ford got alot farther than I thought it would.The pits were "NASTY". I think Greg learned alot from his first mud event.The one pit was getting pretty good by the end of the day.They had the level down to the 1' to 2' range and some of the trucks were able to make the full length of the pit. Now if he gets the other pit down to the same level,then he should have a couple good pits for racing in. Hope to see more Jeeps there next time....Or is everyone scared of a little mud.. ;D Rue |

Ya,,I should finsh cutting it out before the Crawl. This summer just don't seam to be long enough to do everything.

Rue, you just bursted my bubble now.
Your Buggy is awesome. At full throttle it sounds like it is coming from out of space. The second time you went in it looks you were floating in the clouds.
You put on a good show.
The JK did not made too far with those tires.

Hey, 7 ft for a stock 07 jk,not bad,still took me 5 hr.s with the hose to get all the mud out.Think I might be going to buy a gas pressure washer before trying it again next month if they have this event again. I think we could have gone 10 ft if I was aloud to have a run at it lol. had a great time and look forward to seeing some great people again.S and J

It just took me 2 1/2 hours with my 3000 psi gas pressure wash to clean Robin 's Jeep.
