1994 Jeep XJ 4.0L sport
4dr, red in color
AW4 Auto transmission
np231 transfercase
320,000kms
Originally an alberta vehicle
Currently inspected till May
This is the jeep I drove across canada in the winter with. When I was daily driving it here, I put over 100km a day on it. It runs and drives fine with the following exceptions.
It needs 4 tires. The ones on it are 31x10.5x15 and hold air and are fine for transporting it, but for winter driving, get some better tires. The spare (235 75 15) is currently bolted on, as the original has a large sidewall hole in it.
It has a exhaust leak near the manifold/header.
The door or windshield leaks on the passenger side. I pulled, cleaned, and dried the carpet on that side so the water is gone, but it is something to be looked at. Got it. No more leak.
Fuel door is broken, and there is a crack in the rear hatch.
Door panels are dented in places with some scratches. Its not an abomination, but its not mint either.
Some additions:
The floor is solid, and was repaired 2 years ago with metal welded in.
Custom made front bumper with pass-though plates for tow points and mounting the bumper. They are attached to the unibody at 7 points on each side. Has an integrated receiver tube in the middle as well. Easily the best feature of the jeep.
Rockers have been cut out and replaced with 2x3 box tubing to take up the gap, then 2x6 channel to make nice solid rock rails.
I'm asking $800 obo but money talks. I won't hold this for anyone, so the first one who shows up with money can take it.
I'll snap some new pictures of it tomorrow.
