Well i'm sick of all yous guys getting after me for my underpowered, under braked little Chevy. I bought a bigger truck to be safe on the roads and to haul my junk with ease.
;D Take that, bitches! 1952 International Havester L180 COE.
I don't know if its a 3ton or 5ton, it was an airport tanker tho. Heavy duty!
;D
Pure Awesome.
A commanding view. little Chev says "You fawking better not make me tow that home, you jerk."
Dual PTO's! I'm thinking tilt deck and Hyd. winch.
D60 Pffttt! Children's toy.

Hydraulic brakes, no need for Class-A licence.
Motivation is a big-ass 6cyl gas motor, and a 5-speed trans, no synco's. single speed rear. Get this - chassis has 5000miles on 'er. engine has been rebuilt tho, it probably sat and ran a pump for the tanker all the time.
Working out getting it home now....its as tall as a school bus, and like 25' long. Might not want to go up on a flatdeck, will hit wires. My neighbor might take my CJ down with a Western Star tractor, and detachable neck lowboy float, and we'll winch it on.
Still lol'ing. I've wanted a truck for years, my family and neighbor are all truckers. I've wanted an old muscle car or old cruiser for years, to take to car shows. I've needed a flatdeck to haul my Jeep and camper with in one shot for two years now......Just seems like a good all-around way to do it all !!!!
Or at least thats my rationalization for buying this ridiculous thing. ;D BA likes it too!
Whose got the biggest towrig now, huh, huh, huh? ;D ;D ;D
Just kidding. Frig knows when this thing will see the road! I'm gonna pick at it and see how it goes. didn't pay a shit-ton for it, was quite reasonable. Got it just in time too. I snaked one guy who said he'd be back, and had already bargained the price down. Buddy got another 2 calls from serious buyers while I was there.
The cab is same as the pickups, so its not 'rare' all over. Just the COE stuff is rare. (something like 3500 produced per year)
Picture it slammed out on airbags, tilt deck, a little sleeper, and some big ass Bud wheels, and super singles in the back, oooh yeah.
If the engine/trans sucks ass, i'll grab a TBI 454 and auto from my neighbor, he's got a couple of retired work trucks with those in 'em I can use if I want.
Green Goblin Rockabilly carshow is weekend after next......wonder if she'll run?
