Oh. Do you need a VIN, or just info on what is inspected? Maybe I misunderstood the question.
I built a trailer and had it registered and inspected recently. Is this the process you need?

Thank you very much Jonathan. It is exactly what I was looking for.
Now I need some clarification
Page 93, Section 1, 3rd note reads:
NOTE: No trailer with a gross weight (load and vehicle) in excess of 4,000 lbs. or 1,800 kg shall be operated on any highway unless such trailer is equipped with adequate brakes controlled by the operator of the towing vehicle.
Page 96, Section 1
3. Breakaway System: NOTE: A trailer with a gross weight in excess of 3,000 lbs (1,300 kg) shall be equipped with a breakaway system.
Those Number: 4000Lbs and 3000Lbs should they be reverse?
I am thinking that the higher gross weight 4000Lbs should have more safety such as breakaway battery. Or Am i reading it wrong?

Mickey Over 3000 needs a breakaway, over 4000 needs a breakaway and a brake controller in the vehicle. Surge brakes like a uhaul trailer or big boat trailer aren't controlled by the operator of the towing vehicle. It's not really clear in that respect.

If you have ele. brakes you need a breakaway and a brake controller for anything over 3000.
