Hey guys, I'm trying to mate a stock 8.8 explorer shaft flange to my YJ shaft. I got what I thought was the proper conversion joint (1310 to1330) but it ends up having ears/caps that are the right diameter, but too wide for going into the YJ shaft. The 8.8 caps fit fine in the flange. 8.8 side needs inner clips and the yj side needs outer clips.
What is the proper number I am looking for? Does it exist? Internet searching has me confused, as most go for an aftermarket flange.

www.showmetheparts.com/skf/#download the u-joint catalog - something screwy about what you have the explorer does have outside clips, pg.109 the conversion joint you have should be right pg.322 dimensions start on pg.324 Jeep width is 3.219 outside and explorer is 3.622 outside - I don't see a 3.622 inside listed you got me puzzled

It lists the explorers as a 2-4800. It shows outer locks, but I can tell you for sure it is inner locks. Typo maybe? I should be looking for pn: 1-0134. I have a spicer catalog as well, but I am having trouble finding a conversion joint.

This number seems to jive with the Neapco part so I'll go for it. Wish I knew the pn of the wrong one I had, but that box is long gone. Rob D Edit: I found the 5-134x in the spicer catalog, but even it lists the 1330 ears as being outside clips. Can you confirm this bill? I'm sure my ford flange requires inside clips.

Not sure what I actually had. It bolted up to the pinion flange, but took a different joint altogether. It was a round flange with square ears, whereas the right one had a dog bone shape with rounded ears. The correct conversion joint for it was indeed the 5-134x.
