Pretty straight forward.
Apesteguy gave me some plexiglass in a wood frame probably about 4" x 8"
My vehicle door has no windows, which makes it feel a little weird in there, and is annoying if I am in there when no one is home, or I hear someone pull in I have to go outside to see who it us.
I'd like to just cut a square out of one of my door panels and silicon this window in. I know the panels are made of some type of like fibreboard but is there anything in the middle? like some thin metal? I don't want to start mucking around with a good garage door and end up with a bunch of holes in it.

Drill a small hole , see what's in there , just don't go all the way through . You can always fill it back in with silicone

What make of garage door is it? I can't remember even after being there a few times lol!
I did this to my old Wayne Dalton garage door at my previous home and it worked out well. It has an inner and outer skin of sheet metal with 2" of expandable foam insulation inbetween. I used an 8"x72" side-lite out of a front door and turned it sideways. The trim rings held it on perfectly. Made the door a little heavier and had to add a 1/2 turn to the spring to compensate.

I have no clue what kind of door, I'll have to check when I get home. Has lots of antenna dents in the back of it though which tells me there has to be something solid in the middle because it take a fair bit of force to get the antenna unwedged from the door.
