If all it needs is a tracbar to make it sellable, the owner could take it up the road a mile to Clare Dodge, or Clayt's Off-Road 10 minutes down the road, or 30 minutes to Peck's in Digby. The old expression: "You have to spend money to make money"

Yeah I mentioned Pecks to him for parts. His response was I just put a new shimmy shock on and it only done it to me once!I laughed to myself cause I new the wobble would not go away till the real issue was fix.He was gonna put a new sticker on it yesterday,he has his own garage and a MVI license so you would think he would fix to make sale? The rad was empty and the overflow bottle ,I mentioned that and he said oh I guess I never checked it? Some mechanic? Anyway done talking about this jeep and want to move on.My poor thread is derailed and I still need an LJ! We are a 2 vehicle family well three if you count my wheeler and are down to a Cavi I beat to work in till we find a new ride......

OK. I love the auto, its worth it. Its fun to jazz around with a manual, but the auto is so nice in the woods and long trips, or in the city in stop n go traffic.

E-mailed both parties last night and both responded rather quickly and both still for sale and are able to look at both this weekend.Gonna go to Fall River first and look at the auto LJ as its in very good shape and price is right.Always had auto trannies in my Jeeps, the BackwoodsXJ,our 96 Grand we had and the now gone Liberty.Truthfully never drove a standard 4 litre newer Jeeptill last sunday, they sure are snappy and was quite surprised how they felt! Anyhoo this is gonna be one of our DD and the wife will be driving the most so it could very well be the auto.It just depends on which one I end up buying.

I went to check out a vehicle today and someone was test driving it. They got out and talked to the sales person in the parking lot for 20 minutes, so I left, drove around, came back and still talking so I left. Got that out of my system.

Don't let that stop you... certified cheque made out to the Bank (lien holder) and her. I've sold vehicles that I still owed on and that's how it's done. (always check with the lien holder first to see if that amount will release the lien on the chattel... er...jeep) If you really wanted THAT vehicle, that's how it's done. She has to play ball by allowing you to contact the lien holder. Otherwise, walk away. Good luck with your search. It seems the price has come down slightly on these. I like the black one in NB that you posted first.

That way you can receive a copy of the lien release statement/receipt also. It is super-clean with no possible loose ends or worry. Good luck. BTW all '04 LJ's were automatic w/R44.

Didn't know all 04's were auto's.Yeah she said TD bank was open today and that we could go there and pay off loan etc..... Anyhoo looking at 05 from NB Sunday and if that one don't come home with us I said I would look at her auto..... Do all LJ's have rear D44? I assumed they did and that is a must as well!
