I have a quick question for anyone who knows about tires. My Honda has P185/70/R14 tires. I have found a pretty good deal on some slightly used BFG Winter Slalom tires but they are P185/65/R14. Will the BFG's fit my Honda rims? The numbers are pretty close but I am no tire expert.

P185/70/R14. The P means it is a passenger car tire,The first number(185) represents the cross section width of the tire at its widest point(sidewall) in millimeters. The second # (70) represents the Aspect Ratio. This a big term meaning that this tire's sidewall height is 70% of the cross section width, or 70% of 185mm. The R means simply Radial tire construction. And finally the 14 represents the rim size.
So yes the tire will fit on your rim, but it will have a smaller diameter by 5% of 185mm ~ 9.5mm

185/70/14 = 24.2" diameter 185/65/14 = 23.5" diameter

I did the same thing, my CRV takes 205/70/15, and I put a set of 205/65/15's on it. No biggie. Might change your speedo a tiny bit.
