I was out driving the other day and noticed a jeep parked in a used car dealer that was practically making me drool when i seen it but wanted to get some opinions on issues i should look for or things i should mention for them to look at before buying. They have an ad on Kijiji with a few pictures and general specs capebreton.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-cars-trucks-2006-jeep-rubicon-W0QQAdIdZ454944489considering the shape it is in and mileage along with the work done to it already it seems like a good price but i figure i can maybe get them down to around 9 or so on it. this will be my first jeep so i wanna make sure im not buying somethin that looks good but is gonna die on me

Hey.... Yeah believe it or not the guy who owns this jeep bought it from MacIntyre's Chev... He just used it as a daily driver... I don't think it's been off road... I knew they were selling it at MacIntyre's for 15,900... I may have drooled over it myself a couple of times!

Curious to know why he's selling it so soon after buying from MacIntyre's??? It has to to be only a couple months. i think everyone drooled over it a lil ;D It looks clean but I'd have to ask the question!

Is it just me, or are those flares cartoonishly wide?

I think my 05 Colorado has pretty much kicked the bucket at 140K so when i have gas money friday to make it over and time to clean out the truck/remove sound system im going over.Im curious why its for sale also since so much work was done with so few miles. Ive seen many on auto trader the same year with more miles for the same price stock. ill get a friend of mine to look at it since hes pulled apart and pieced together a few jeeps over the past few years and hopefully drive away in it if it all checks out. From what I can tell it just needs mirror relocation brackets a winch and offroad lights and its good lol

Lifted and modified Jeeps are often harder for dealers to sell, so that may be why it's no more than a stock one. It may have changed hands several times because people buy a lifted jeep because it looks cool and they always wanted one, but then realize it doesn't get the mileage their civic got.

Its street locks. There was a post on here a few months ago about the street locks. This jeep seems to be a mystery. It seems to come up for sale every few months. Could be like Justajeep said. If it was mechanical reasons I'd think it would have been dealt with by now?

I think he's selling it now Dixie because the owner works in baddeck and drives back and forth everyday with it... Which as you can imagine sucks the fuel!!
