Yeah that's the thing... the diesel's are WAY overpriced. Look at the VW gasser vs diesel and then compare the Grand Diesel vs Gasser.
Then look at the estimated mileage difference between both.
The ROI just isn't there!

To get a diesel in the new 2014 Grand Cherokee it is a $4995 option over the same rig in gas. Depending on your perspective that's not too bad a deal considering the Cummins diesel cost $9350 more than the Hemi in a Ram.

That's over 20 foot pounds more than my Hemi is pushing..that would be a real 'seat of the pants' rush. Maybe it'll be time to sell the WK.  |
