Last night I blew the brake line to my front passenger caliper. It broke where is passes between a canister (charcoal I believe) and the inner fender wall around the point where it passes through to the out side. The canister vibrates and chafes the line until it breaks. Had the same problem with my 88 & 92 XJ. What I would like to know is will I have a problem with pressure if I run the line up and around the canister near the top of it instead of passing behind it near the bottom? I don't want to run into this rubbing problem again.

Thanks Alan. Just about to start running the new line now. It's good I checked back here before.
