Is the blower motor not working because of no voltage at the blower motor? Or is the resistor gone?

Got Flowmaster on my '88 twice door XJ, nice sound with manual trans. My son found it on salvage yard Dakota and we introduced it to the Jeep. Does your rig have sliding side windows? If so, are they useful? I have wondered if they are worth the swap. Blower motor is under the hood, RH side on the firewall. Fuse is 25 A in fuse box, use test lite to check for power here with key on. Then check for pwr and grd at the motor. Motor is grded with blk wire. Pwr flows thru a/c cntrl, fan switch, then resistor to motor. Tried to see resistor on mine jus now, not rite plain to see. (RH side of a/c heater box, inside cab.) XJs dashes are not that friendly to service stuff.

[Eispecially since most of them smoke... :/ ] I'll have to check out everything tomorrow then. Also I noticed my jeep takes forEVER to warm up.. where as my old cherokee was nice and toasty warm in about 3 minutes. Oh and I also heard that I have a pet mouse in my jeeps dash tonight aswell. Which explains the mouse nest in the door when i replaced the speakers. Any ways to drive him out?

Try mothballs for the mouse , tinfoil tray with afew in it. I guess if you can still get them. I could rent you my cat.Your mouse is most likely your fan prob. They love wires. Fan full of mouse house, also a thought. On my rig ,I renewed hot thermostat and flushed h. core, heat was good.

Well I went with the glasspack, I found out that sydney auto has AP-racing glasspacks for $25! So I yanked one up and had my buddy weld it on for me, we also fixed my heater. turns out the previous owner pulled out the power wire for the switch.. So we re-ran a wire to a open fuse spot with 12 volts and put a in-line fuse on the wire. Now the last two things i have to do for now is change my oil, replace the rear passenger wheel cylinder, and put on a new passenger wheel bearing. Also what size drums would my cherokee have? It has the 8.25 rear end so.. i unno, every time i go to saf-way they ask me the drum size, and i dont have a measuring tape to measure it.

You have to measure, mine were 9" but the only way to be sure is to measure. They cant even look it up at the dealer by VIN, tried that route as well.

Well didnt do much today, I changed the oil, cleaned out all the garbage, and painted my fender flares gloss black.
But heres whats puzzling me now... before i changed the oil it was about a quart low. but the oil psi gauge was on the 3. Now i changed the oil to quaker state defy 10w30 not only did the tick get worse, but the oil psi is under the 3 a little bit now. :/ worrys me now because my old white cherokee started doing this just before it developed a horrible knock and was later found out the pistons were destroyed. A few of my friends told me to adjust the valves.. how would i do that to a 4.0L?

Can't adjust the valves, it has hydraulic lifters and they are well known to be noisy in the 4.0.

I'd run 15W40 in it. I'll see you around, I got a black 4 door, out in South Bar.
