Well since I've been lurking around here for a month or two now, I guess I should start a little build thread for my XJ. She's a 93 4.0L High output with the Ax-15 5-speed. NP-231 transfer case and basically stock now besides a few tiny things. General grabber AT2's Old dodge something rims, Unno what they are but their light and I like them [looking for a 5th one ;D ] 3-ft CB antenna with a unidon radio. some subs, and stickers lol. Has alot of factory goodies to. Transfer case skid-plate, front skid-plate, gas tank skid-plate,factory tire carrier [actual carrier missing :C] and some other random stuff. So the basic plan is to have something I can daily drive, Weekend wheel with, and be a rescue rig for all my friends who like to go wheeling alone and call me when their buried up to their neck in mud to come pull them out. So my current little parts pile consists of a 3" Pro-comp lift-kit with full leafs, 8000lb Ramsay winch [needs solenoids] Snorkel will be coming for christmas, roof basket, and lots of lights. [I'm scared of the dark ;_; ] My current main problem I'm dealing with is the blower motor not working, and with winter almost on our doorstep I need to get it fixed asap. And if anyone in the sydney area wants to meetup and go wheeling just drop me a PM! kind of tired of going with all the big truck guys just to sit and watch them have all the fun.

Well, I got a little pushbar welded onto the bumper today, and hooked up some fog lights on the front... just to have my altenator die about a hour later. With the jeep running it only makes 9.2 volts and slowly trickles down.

Yea alot of the XJ's I see around here are shot. the past 2 I've had and this one have been relativity rust free, but plagued with electircal, engine, and brake problems >:C

Got the altenator replaced today. charges at a healthy 14 volts now. Also deleted the A/C system since it doesent work, and I'll have half doors for the summer anyways Now i just need to figure out why my blower motor isnt working, and what exhaust to get... I'm stuck on either a glass pack.. or flowmaster 40.. Shineey The old dirty altenator [Found out upon removeal, it was packed with undercoating and the housing was broken.] And after taking all the A/C stuff out. I havent taken the pump off yet cause i have to get the idler pully off my parts jeep. And the new pushbar

I've run both a Flowmaster 40 and glasspac (currently on my second glasspac in my second Jeep), liked them both, both are tough as nails and last. Flowmaster has a smoother sound. Glasspac is considerably cheaper, but I've heard it is possible to run into issues at MVI.

Well sydney auto here sells a flowmaster 40 replica made by AP-racing. they useually go for around $40 with taxes included. Where as canadian tire wants $70 for a glasspack... plus my jeep has a fresh 2 year mvi so i dont have to worry about that for a while

$70 for a glasspac...wow, have they gone up in price, I paid $23 for my first one at Canadian Tire (won the second one), think my Flowmaster was around $140
