Good to know that Snap-on didn't go super cheap with components. It will be interesting to see how it holds up compared to the problems you've had with Warns.

Those solenoid packs are the biggest improvement in winch reliability. Even the shitty ones. Easier to troubleshoot than 4 solenoids too. Cheaper, simpler, more reliable. win/win. Bill

Any follow up on this winch? I was looking at them the other day at Costco. They certainly do look nice.

I just bought two Snap On led lights at Costco and on the box it says they have the Snap On lifetime warranty. Are the winches the same?

Can anyone tell me if this is a front mount winch ? All info I see says c/w receiver adapter will it mount on smittybuilt src front bumper ?

If it comes with the receiver mount, and you have a 2" hitch and don't mind running really long expensive wires than you're good for the rear, while not ideal - it will work. As for the front, you'll need some type of mount specific to your vehicle. The wiring will be easier and cleaner and the winch more useful and out of the way on the front.
