Nice light bar! How is that switch attached?

two-sided tape. It's temporary. The real lighted switch will go in the A-Pillar

It's on the fender, running through foam into the engine space.
Rubi rock rails are on. HUGE esthetic improvement over the steps. Super easy mod, bolts to the underside and through the pinch seam. No need to remove the tires or anything. Straight bolt-on affair.
Rough Country 1.25" BL is also on. Not as thrilled with that. If she was an auto I would be 100% satisfied. But as I have the 6sp I am not. Even with the adapter RC sends for the shifter, it hits the top front of the inner shifter boot.
The shaft cannot be bent to clear it so I have had to buy a new boot from DDodge for 30$ and will deliver same to Dave L at ABC who will use it as a template to construct me a new inner boot that will allow the shifter to clear. No problem but will end up adding about $100 to the cost of the BL.
Speaking of the shifter, while the SW was at the GarageMahal, we, and by "we", I mean Scott, cut the shifter and using a 3" piece of old sway bar he had lying around, extended the shifter. Awesome work as always, and totally invisible mod. The shifter needs to be bent slightly, and a trip to see Mr. Bill Clarke and his magic Mini Ductor tool will clear that right up.
So ladies and gentlemen, with the exception of a Cobra 75 CB w/ external speaker, and a lighted rocker switch in the A pillar for the LED bar, the SW build is done. Hopefully I'll see you at Jam.

This must be some kind of record, someone being ready for Jam BEFORE Jam!

I predict he will be installing that CB the night before Jam, in order to maintain some sort of last minute tradition!

So does the shifter extension now negate the need for the adapter or new boot?

So does the shifter extension now negate the need for the adapter or new boot? No , the adapter is most defiantly needed
