Already been down that other road. If I was as smart as Enos, my house would be paid off and I'd be in the same spot. LMAO @ 5 years. If I have this Jeep in 5 years it will be the first one.

Well Roy, as I get older, my tastes change. We make some cross-country road trips, we have dogs, I still like to wheel, I want to be able to do all of this and have one vehicle to do it in. That's not a heavily modified anything. Well at least not for me. Not anymore. Like any addiction, the urge to go farther will be there. Leaving the OEM suspension alone is key. The BL to clear the 285s and the offset wheels will accomplish the non-stock look while not sacrificing significantly the on road manners over stock. I'm really looking forward to this one. It's a blank canvas and I hope to do it justice. At the end of the day, I'm the only one that has to like it.

LEN , are tastes did not change.
The hole world of jeeping has Change, big modded and lifted jeep are so like 6 years a go LCG is in and jeeps that you can drive to work everyday, and play on the weekend
if you can't get in your jeep drive and drive 300km easily, it's not a jeep any more , it's a toy or trailer queen
if that make 3 cents

Enos had it right from the start. I've enjoyed my circuitous Jeeping journey, and on 33s I'm still bigger than stock. There is a renowned pic to which Enos put the following caption " ... Than to try to follow a 33" wielding CJ"
I remember when Rico had 31s on the YJ, and she was large, Dick's CJ on 33s WAS huge.

Geeze...I'm getting referenced a lot here. As nice as it would be, the house isn't paid off. But I still stand by my 31s and one day I will get back out on the trails. ZJ needs a little TLC at the moment that will probably wait until the spring or whenever I get it down to Alan to fix the Crack in the frame and do something for a rear bumper.
