Hey all,
I'm starting a hunt for a new-to-me hauler for hauling some horses/equipment around.
Ideally I'd like to find a full size truck, an old road tractor/straight-truck size of truck. I'm not afraid of something with a ton of KMs on it; I'm not going to be making my living with it. I have my air brake endorsement as well so that's not really a concern. If an old road tractor I'm willing to remove an axle etc as necessary; I'd like to put a flat deck on the back similar to the truck I have now and will be mounting a gooseneck ball on it.
Basically I want to use a big truck, under-worked, to do what a 3/4 or 1 ton CAN do.
Must list: - Be capable of 110 km/h on the flats - Be fixable (not require mega frame-up restoration)
Bonus points: - Already single axle - Already has a flat deck - I can drive it home
Supermega bonus points with stars: - Crew cab - Safety Inspected? - Free? haha
There are a couple of 1980's Internationals in the Valley which would fit the ticket but the engines in them aren't really ideal. I want this for hauling to/from horse shows more so than general farm use (may use it to haul a trailer for getting hay but that'd be about it)

Bump
Being told I really need something with either air-ride suspension or to make an air-ride coupler for an aluminum horse trailer.
Again I'm not looking for anything fancy, I've looked at a few trucks now and turned them down just to not being geared for the highway.
