Got a 85 cherokee 4cylinder
Its only a woods truck and isnt expected to make it past august
Last time out the whole axle bracket that holds the track bar, steering stabilizer and sway bar link on broke off and took the control bar mounyt with it
If i just cut the sway bar link track bar and steering stabilizer if will it still drive
Fyi used a ratchet strap to hold it tg otw home and pulled the coil spring right off, plan on welding on a coil sprung mount and trying to cobble the control arm mount tg and weld it
Its a 200$ beater so not spending alot just getting it mobile

You need to keep the track bar also.

You can certainly try... If it's just to get it unstuck and onto a trailer a short distance away, you may make it...eventually.
It certainly won't be reliable for any sort of driving though. Without a trackbar, every time you turn the wheel, the body will want to move from being centered over the axle while keeping the tires keep pointing where they are.
If you're using ratchet straps, they will only be useful while they're tight. As the suspension moves they'll become slack and steering will be difficult.
Ratchet straps have certainly been used many times... but they're very much a method to limp out of the woods... very slowly.
Just noticed your control arm is broken off too... There's going to be a lot of stress on the other one(s) as it is. Nevermind with a cobbled or lacking trackbar.
Giv'er... take pics.
