So I'm driving back to Dartmouth this afternoon across the MacDonald bridge and what do I see... buncha burly Bridge Police in a yellow TJ driving along the walking area that hangs off the bridge. And yes they were all grinning.

Of all the vehicles for sale locally, the TJ and Xterra are the only ones within the weight limits for that overhang on the bridges.
I met with them when I worked for Nissan about replacing thier old TJ's with Xterra's. of course, the POS dealership wouldn't help me with prcing, so we didn't get the contract because of, are you ready for this, $500 per vehilce (there were 3).
They use the TJ's during the winter to plow those sidewalks with a shorty plow.
I'd hate to be driving it when the wind is up on those sidewalks...

I guess they have faith in engineering. Wouldn't be me.

Considering that bridge is overweight if a bus & fire truck are on it at the same time.
