For both front tires off the ground, you are going to need like a 350 for a motor, upgraded driveline and rear axle (Dana60 maby) and some wide ass rear tires.
Basically, don't do it. You will end up breaking something still.

swap in a 2wd front end out of a commanche to trim weight. ditch the 4wd. go v8. fiberglass front clip, no bumpers, etc, get rid of as much weight as possible. move COG rearwards as possible with engine swap. upgrade rear axle to D60, steep gears, full locker or spool, drag slicks. 4 link the rear to eliminate wheelhop, design for a ton of squat. this will either be really cool if you are a good fabricator and know how to build a high horse engine and a cage, or will be a peice of crap that will kill someone. you said street legal, if you don't know what cog or squat/antisquat is, you should not be doing this. sorry to be blunt, going fast is fun, but jeeps handle like crap. a sub 11 second jeep is going to be a deathride. i see in your other post you want to sell your awd eagle talon. you want to go fast enough to wheelie - in a steet legal vehicle - stick to cars. now, i qualify this with - if you are a very good fabricator and have been racing forever and all that, yeah, you could probably do it. but it will be a racecar that is skinned to look like a Jeep. and you probably wouldn't be asking on a 4x4 site.

The YJ I bought from Dave Moulton witht the 350 And my YJ with the 5.0 would both pull the front tires a few inches without alot of effort.
