i hope you got them welded to the b-pillar too! you have to peel back the door area sheetmetal to access the b-pillar. and weld 'em into the unibody box section at each wheelwell, too. it's also a good idea to run (2) 2x2's back to the frame per side.
how do they look if you kneel down and take a pic? i didn't like the look of the 2" side facing out, you could see the guts of the jeep underneath too much. 2" looks good on an xj, but i used 4x4 on the zj. I think it was the unibody box sections at the wheelwells that looked bad, they stick down 4".
I could fit 32's without cutting the fenders. So that's how I made the rockers, to match the lines of the fenders. went to 33's and had to cut the fenders and re-do the rocker endcaps. sucked ass cutting them off, sectioning back 2-3", then redoing the endcaps.
the fit and finish looks good, i just hope they are in there good.

I didn't weld them to the b-pillar yet, I cut out the 5x2 where the b-pillar goes & it sits inside of the tubing. Ther reason I didn't is because I had to cut some rust off of the bottom of them & they fit right in. I still may weld them to the b-billar though, I figured the only way was to peel the sheet metal back.
I don't mind the look of them from the side, I think they turned out good.
I planned on running some tubing from the rockers to the frame, & still do, but it is holding up well & is in there tight.
I don't plan on lifting it soon, I needed a daily driver & I like this Grand so much I think in the future we are going to buy a little newer one with a V8 & use it for a DD & tow rig. When that day comes I will prolly lift the ZJ, wheeling in comfort, lol.
I am building a front bumber for it now, I will post some pics when it is finished.

Sorry guys, I forgot I posted them here...
We don't use the server they use to be on anymore so I edited the above post with the new links.
I may have a few more pics, I will have a look and post them here if I do.
