yeah those are great dwgs. would be easy to make from them.
you would have to leave the #07's off till last. mount the 07's to the body and then line up the bumper and tack weld.
this will account for the old twisted body and measurement errors, however small. its nice to eyeball the final position b4 welding.
i would also add 4 triangles at the 07 to 01 junctions, looking from top.
i mentioned mounts to tie in the tapped holes under the frame.
i have seen that exact design fail towing a trailer. are you going to make the lower mounts?
very simple, (2)3/8 x 2"wide x 8" or so long with 2 holes drilled in it. weld to bottom of 01, across bottom of 07's, and under the frame to pick up the tapped holes.
this will also be a great platform to sit the bumper on to level it b4 final welding.

yeah those are great dwgs. would be easy to make from them. That must be why I do it for a living. Exactly what I did. I made the mounting plates (05) and the spacers (07), welded them together and mounted them to the Jeep. Now I'm going to line them up nice and square, line up the main piece, tack weld and remove for finish welding. However, not necessary. You can trust my word as a person who's been designing steel structure for 6 years now, or you can make me do the calculations, your call. Still workin' on that. The holes on my frame are not tapped, just through holes. I was going to go with a piece of 2x2x1/8 angle, perhaps even 2x1x1/8. 1/2" flat bar drilled, tapped and welded to the bottom of the bumper and an appropriate sized spacer under the frame. Bolt the angle and spacer to the frame, bolt the bumper to the Jeep, bolt the bumper to the angle. I'll do some more figurin' and get back to that subject. Steve PS - Where are you located?
