i needed some sort of vents to help keep my xj from heating up, so i decided to rip the vents off the S-10 and put them on my jeep! so i started by making where i wanted them, and then cut some monster holes in the hood ;D and i put a 1 inch high strip towards the front of the hood, to help keep water out if/ when i hit a water hole. i glued the vents down with some adhesive, then started adding some fill to the edges to have a molded look. BUT it kept cracking, so i gel coated it.....still cracked with the temp change, so i fiberglassed them down, no cracks yet!! so i put some fill on them and started sanding them down. i got them flat enough so my body man can do the rest, i got sick of sanding and painted it..heres what i have so far they really keep the motor cool, it doesn't heat up one bit while sitting in the drive threw like it did before, and once i put a elec fan on it, that should help even more.

Will be a nice look if the body work is decent.
So the begging question is...what's in the S-10 to warrant scoops ;D
I have an auxilary electric XJ fan for sale if you need it.

the guy doing the body work before it gets painted told me to get them on and glassed and he's going to do the rest, i'd try and do a good job if i had the right tools......the s-10 has a 4.3

it put GTA trans am vents in my hood and they do a good job and fit nicely between the hood braces. They keep the motor a lot cooler and made for quite a show this winter when I blew my heater hose coming off the water pump lol, looked like old faithful. nice job !
