I know CJ5 hard tops are a wee bit hard to find. However, I have seen a few on ebay in the US lately..... so I thought there might be a local one for sale.

I have a fiberglass hardtop for my CJ5 (it is a 1980) that I picked up recently. It is an original, factory option, hard top and is in good condition. All the glass is clean and unbroken, there are 4 attachment loops on the roof (to which I have attached my spare), and the top is completely solid. All of the door seals are mint. Both hard doors are included. The lower half of the doors have glass windows; the upper half have sliding windows. The locks on the doors don't work and the door strikers could be replaced. The lock on the lift gate is frozen, so it doesn't open .. but it appears to be completely functional otherwise. There is a chip out of one side of the door .. but it is any easy fix, since the top is fiberglass. The dome lights need to be replaced .. but that is a $1 part at Canadian tire. I am considering parting out my jeep, since it seems that getting to pass the MVI may cost more than the jeep is worth. This makes me sad, but my loss may be your gain. I also have a quick disconnect kit .. you pop two latches on the windshield and unscrew several thumbscrews around the body, and lift the top right off. The kit cost me $100 including shipping and custom fees. At the very least, I want to recoup my costs in purchasing the top and getting it here from San Diego .. so, in order for me to consider parting out my jeep, I'd need about $1200 for the top and the disconnect kit. Not the best pictures, but it gives you an idea of what I have.
