agreed, that's not normal. I can't see it being any worse off than a big bumper-pull though? Maybe no worse, but the advantage of a 5th wheel is to put the weight over the rear axle, to avoid weight distributing hitches and not taking weight off the front wheels. That rig is probably so heavy it's not going to lift the front wheels, but it may if the trailer weighs enough.

that thing is pretty bad ass. X2 I love this selling feature "has a few oil leaks so it keeps the underneath rust free." LOL! I'd lose the 5th wheel and box it in, pick up style...would love to pull my Jeep behind that!! Jeff

That rig is probably so heavy it's not going to lift the front wheels, but it may if the trailer weighs enough. i think it was a 20k hitch, so you could be droppin' 2-2.5k on the 5th wheel. even though, it's heavy, and long, i don't think i'd wanna chance it. it would negitivly effect the handling in some strange ways. could end up with the tail waggin' the dog
