Took the camper and the jeep to Moncton this weekend and while I was coming back I stopped into the Big Stop at the PEI exit and got the whole thing weighed for 12$.
Truck = 8700 lbs Camper = 2980 lbs Trailer = 1,940 lbs Jeep = 4,080 lbs
Total = 17,700 lbs.
Water tanks full on the camper, gray/black empty. Truck 3/4 fueled. Top/doors off the Jeep, 1/2 fueled and loaded for the trail (parts, tools,fluids etc)
Driver 270lbs fuelled, clothed and gassed.
;D
Cost me 107.67 in fuel up and back.
Just thought I would post it.

The trailer/Jeep surprised me, I was expecting heavier. My Jeep is 3900, figure my trailer is about 1500. Good mileage.

Fuel price looks reasonable for sure.... Question on your fuel mileage for the jeep, do you get better mileage with your leg hanging out??? (seen ya sat. evening ;D)

Len's trailer is 2600 he says. He's wrong. I can't imagine a JK would weigh less than my Jeep? Just looked it up, a stock JK weighs 4100, add the bigger tires and accessories. I'm about 500 lbs over stock, because of the cage, tire size, spare, tools, etc. He had his doors off, there's 100 lbs, hardtop another 75?

I think the modded JK weights more than #3420. especially if a stock one is #4100.
something is off.

I think I am wrong on the trailer weight. I am going from memory when me and Scott went through the scales at his work. I will weigh it again empty.

I have been keeping track of my milage towing with my 05 CTD running with the programmer and on 35" MT. Towing my 28' travel trailer which loaded is probably around 7000-7500 LB. I have been getting about 24L/100KM. Hand calcuated using odometer from the GPS as the stock one is off by 10%.

I think I am wrong on the trailer weight. I am going from memory when me and Scott went through the scales at his work. I will weigh it again empty. there should be a tag on it somewhere. the u-haul is 2100, "looks" heavier than yours, but your is longer and has the beavertail. Paul says his is 1500. prob somewhere in the middle. post it up is you find it.
