And where's the truck/dolly/tent option. That's the one I like LMAO I am digging the cut off school bus, very redneck. There are a few around home to haul round bales of hay.

This thread has me looking at Kijiji for enclosed trailers... Shame on you all. LMAO I bet you just want the big blank sides so you can get "IAJT-YWU" in giant letters pasted on it. I don't understand why you would want to do that though... The trailer will have a travelling Buddha, Marley lyrics and a rasta vibe ;D HOPING for next year. ;D

Whenever I see a bus for a hauler I think, 20 hours and thousands of dollars maintenance for a roof over your head a few nights a year. Just imagine putting new brakes and tires on one of those. Yea, common sense even rules my dreams.

Ah yes, but if you buy a rig with good tires and breaks that you don't daily drive... you'll probably never have to change them. School buses are maintained like crazy, and go for cheap once retired.

The tent trailer is mounted on the goose neck of a 5th wheel trailer.

Repete, I would love to see a picture of that when you get it. Big G, I'm the friend of K's (repete) with the trailer. He asked me to post a couple of shots of it. We've had the trailer out twice now and it seems to be working out rather nicely. I haven't added any of the work benches or storage I planned on yet and will most likely do that during the winter instead of burning up summer camping time on that. The Ford has also been modified after the first time out. Not that it was bad or anything but I just wanted more out of it. It now pulls steady witout even feeling the trailer much. Sorry about the size of these pictures guys. That school bus is way too funny to see that on here. That belongs to one of our club members and made a trip to Moab from Calgary with us. ;D

So if you drive that jeep into the enclosed trailer, how do you get out of the jeep?

So if you drive that jeep into the enclosed trailer, how do you get out of the jeep? Through the windshield obviously!

I'll get the specs on the trailer this afternoon (your evening) . They had an option of a side door for exit, but I decided against that and figured I'd strap the doors to the walls if it was an issue. I'm 6'2" and 240lbs and have no problems at all getting out with the doors still on. I really don't even have to fold in the mirrors to get around, but sometimes I do for conveniance. Inner fender of the trailer is just at the right height to step right out with no effort and move around. Thsi trailer is a 20 footer with 19'9" inside. Jeep is about 13"4 with the spare tire so it still gives me a lot of room for future bench and storage. I also had the trailer built about 1 foot taller to accomodate the jeep with lift and a 7' ramp door.
