well i was planning on getting a truck in the spring but i couldn't pass this one up.... its a 1/2 ton z71, 4x4, auto, 5.3l, loaded except for leather. it also has the tow package......and of course, the chrome package. which i don't really like chrome but it just looks good with this color. i was away with the little guy at scouts camp all weekend so its a little dirty now but it cleans up nice.

Same as mine but Chev. She pulls my rig ok. Stopping is the issue, Chev/GMC 1/2 tons have marginal brakes at best. Keep your trailer brakes up to snuff, you will need them!

awesome Mike! looks like a real nice comfy rig.
I don't think his trailer has brakes, but the buggy is prob only around 2300#?

Excellent score Mike, looks like a pimp ride for sure. How's the buggy doing anyway? Get the trans swapped out?

My 03 can't stop on it own, 2 brake changes and no better. I can literally have the pedal on the floor and the vehicle is only slowing down like you would for a non-panic stop. Some people disconnect the abs and claim it helps but questions might be raised in a bad accident.
I already bagged 1 lawyer due to lousy brakes but he cut across me anyway ;D.

I wonder if your booster is working properly? Sounds like my jeepster with manual brakes.

I find the same thing with my 04. Have to really come onto the pedal to woah it down, now the 3/4 tons with the hydroboost have awesome brakes.....
