I dunno about painting it. The olive drab hood + the bare aluminum with the exposed rivets/bolts kinda give it a WWII dog fighter kinda look. Or even paint the top 5-6 inches of your panels olive drab and seperate from the bare aliminum with a single red pin stripe (similar to the 2nd picture).

WooHoo ,Any one interested in 3-4.5" poly bumps? mildly interested...pm me a price. I like the big panel. Not too sure on more olive drab. It gets a little boring. The WWII dogfigther theme is pretty frickin cool tho. Big honkin shark teeth in back of front tire, and a bunch of crossed out bombs displaying mission status. (edit - the 2nd pic shows Raising Sun's shot down, below the pilot. Must a Pacific fighter...like that. crossed out Jeep grills or something ;D ) There is tons of airplane nose art on the intarweb. brite Vinyl over the raw aluminum would look really good. I bet Lance at T&S could hook u up. I made their sign from aluminum, and they covered in in vinyl.

These are pretty cool..Now you got me thinking. But I'd have to figure out a way to get the Valley Crawls sponsers worked in to the art work as well.I figure that is the less I can do for them, since thay put up a huge amount of $$$$ in prizes for this event. But then If I get it too pretty I might be scared to scratch it... ;)NOT!!! $50.00 for the three bumps stops. Two blue and one black, ripped the other black off on the weekend.

looks good as usual. I really like the way you did your lower mounts.. 8o).. and the diamonds on the joints for extra support. 8o)
As always man, you blow me away with how fast you put these things together. got a good eye for lines and the things just plain work. Glad you got a V8 in this one. lol its about time.. hehe

Got my Profender air bumps mounted on the weekend.Didn't do anything fancy for mounts.Just took a piece of 2"x3" tubing, notched it to fit the can and then cut it for the offset that I wanted from the frame(got to love a square frame, makes mounting easy). Got the buggy out Monday night to tune them.Charged them to 150 psi in all corners, and took it out for a spin.At 150 the front handle the biggest bumps that I could find easy, the rear was still a little soft.Left the fronts at 150,charged the rears to 200psi and adjusted the coilovers to have another inch of compression. With this setup they worked great,I had to really work to bottom them out.Buggy can handle 4 feet of air no problem..LOL. I can get the buggy going way to fast now!!!!No problem to do 50mph cross ways on the plowed ground. I should of bought these years ago,You get the good ride and handling of a Coilover and the ability to hit things hard like a air shock. hopefully get out in the rocks this weekend and see how they do on the trail.
